Uncommon basil with strong licorice flavor and purple veining. 

Pollinator friendly and self-seeds readily if allowed to flower. 

Used in traditional Persian breakfast of feta or goat cheese in pita bread.

Basil flowers make great bouquets.

Likes sun and is container friendly.
