Immortality Herb

Also known as Jiaogulan.

Leaves have many medicinal properties similar to Ginseng. 

Most commonly used as tea, either fresh or dried. Light tasting like green tea but slightly more bitter.

Need many leaves if using fresh for tea, less if using dried leaves. 

Overwintered with protection during December 2022 freeze. 

This is a bitter variety but sweet variety also exists and will be ready locally in 2024. 

Can be a climbing plant or trailing. Many grow this indoors as a house plant.
